Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Expert Chase, Inc. ("we," "us") for MAP & GO! If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is the MAP & GO! apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android, and the Apple companion surfaces that ship with it: Apple Watch, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities, the iMessage extension, and Siri and Shortcuts. Some Apple-only surfaces do not exist on Android. expertchase.com hosts these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and support information. It is not a place to use the product. There is no desktop app and no browser version of MAP & GO!

You must be at least 18. By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 and able to enter this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.

The product

MAP & GO! is a map-first day app from Expert Chase, Inc. Your day sits on a live map. Tasks and events that have a place appear on Today. Weather sits on those pins. Items without a place stay in Tasks or Calendar and are not on the map. E.Y.E. (Empower Your Everyday) is the chat and voice assistant inside the app. You can ask E.Y.E. to add, find, change, and leave for the next stop. Directions stay inside the app.

The phone tabs are Today, Places, Chat, Tasks, and Calendar. Settings opens from your profile.

Your account

  • Registration is your name, email, and password, or Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
  • Keep your account information accurate.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your login to yourself.
  • Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your account.
  • You may not create extra accounts to evade limits, or share one account as a group login.
  • You can delete the account in Settings. Deletion removes the account and the data tied to it, subject to short-lived backups and records we must keep for law, security, or billing disputes.

Location and navigation

You can type an address instead of sharing GPS. The map, nearby search, weather for where you are now, and turn-by-turn directions need location permission to work from your current place. On iPhone, background location is used while you are navigating and to keep maps and nearby items current as described in the system permission. On Android, location is requested while the app is in use.

Directions are assistance only. Watch the road, follow traffic laws, and do not follow a route if it looks wrong. MAP & GO! is not an emergency service and not a certified navigation device. Routes, ETAs, and place results can be wrong or unavailable. Places, maps, and weather come from Apple and other providers and can be wrong or down.

On iPhone, turn-by-turn is MapKit inside MAP & GO!, including on Apple Watch. We do not hand the trip to Google Maps or Waze.

E.Y.E.

E.Y.E. can create, edit, and delete your tasks and calendar events. Typed chat asks you to confirm an edit or delete. Voice can apply the change immediately.

E.Y.E. is not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You decide what to do with what it says. Place results, times, and routes can be wrong.

Free E.Y.E. is limited to 30 messages per month, resetting on the 1st. Voice turns count toward that same cap. Premium removes that cap.

Your content

You own the content you put into MAP & GO!, including tasks, events, places, chat, photos you attach, and memories E.Y.E. saves from what you say. You give us a limited license to host and process that content to run the Service. That includes sending the relevant parts to the processors named in the Privacy Policy, such as Supabase, OpenAI, Apple, and Google.

We do not use your content to train our own models, and we do not permit our AI vendor to train on it.

Tasks, calendar, and connected apps

Tasks and calendar events are yours. A place you attach is saved with that item. Reminders you ask for are tasks.

Premium can connect Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, Google Calendar, and Google Tasks. You authorize each connection, and you can revoke it in Settings and in the source account. We only receive what that connection is allowed to share. The other company's terms apply on their side.

Health

Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android) are Premium. If you connect them, we import the workouts and sleep you authorize. Step counts shown on Apple Watch and widgets stay on the device. We do not write to Apple Health.

Imported health information is informational. It is not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment. You can disconnect Health and delete imported workouts and sleep from our servers in Settings.

Apple companions

Widgets, Live Activities, Apple Watch, iMessage, and Siri show or act on your own account data on your devices. Siri is Premium and has to be connected in Settings. If you send something in iMessage, Apple's messaging terms apply to that message. The iPhone needs to be nearby for Watch sync.

Subscriptions and payments

Free is the map, tasks, calendar, and limited E.Y.E. (30 messages per month, resetting on the 1st).

Premium is $19 per month or $199 per year. Premium is unlimited E.Y.E., connected apps (Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Apple Health, and Health Connect), Siri, and priority support.

  • iPhone and iPad purchases go through the Apple App Store. RevenueCat is the subscription infrastructure. Apple's terms apply. Refunds and billing disputes for those purchases are handled by Apple. Cancel in Apple ID subscriptions. Do not look for an iOS cancel button on this website.
  • Android billing uses Google Play Billing. Cancel in Google Play. Google Play's terms apply.
  • If we still offer a purchase path outside those stores, that checkout provider processes it. We do not store full card numbers.
  • We may change prices. If we do, we will tell you before the new price applies to a renewal.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for anything illegal.
  • Do not abuse the assistant, including attempts to get it to break the law or harm someone.
  • Do not try to break, probe, or overload the Service.
  • Do not reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it.
  • Do not scrape, resell, or misrepresent MAP & GO! as your own product.

Store terms

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the iOS app together with these Terms. If they conflict on an Apple-required point, Apple's terms control for that point. The App Store listing is https://apps.apple.com/app/id6766313000.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Routes, places, weather, times, and E.Y.E. replies can be wrong. Health import is not medical care.

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, EXPERT CHASE, INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. This cap applies regardless of the legal theory. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Expert Chase, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of someone else's rights, including intellectual property rights
  • Content you submit through the Service
  • Your negligent or wrongful conduct

Termination

You can stop using MAP & GO! and delete your account in Settings at any time. Subscription refunds are only what Apple, Google, or the law requires.

We may suspend or close an account, with or without notice, for a violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy, non-payment or payment fraud, a security concern, a legal requirement, or abuse of the Service. We may also close an account that has been inactive for 12 months or more. That is a right we may use. It is not a promise that inactive accounts are deleted automatically.

When an account ends, access ends. Data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, aside from short-lived backups and records we must keep. These Terms' provisions on your content license, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and disputes keep applying after termination.

Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Legal actions arising under these Terms will be brought in the federal or state courts located in Delaware.

  • Contact us first at [email protected] and try to resolve the dispute informally.
  • A formal claim must be filed within one year of the event that gave rise to it.
  • You waive any right to participate in a class action against Expert Chase, Inc.
  • Binding arbitration may be required for certain types of disputes.
  • Small claims court is available for disputes that qualify.

Changes

We may change these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the app. Changes take effect 30 days after notice unless we say otherwise. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the update. You can reject a change by deleting your account before it takes effect.

General

If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about the Service.

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them, including in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
